Hello My Baby- ragtime piano with singing- Jazz Creature!

PIANO IS FOR SALE- $700. Send a message if interested. Beautifully restored, tuned and regulated Mehlin and Sons. Located in Davis, CA 95616. This is me (Mark Chang) playing "Hello My Baby" on the piano. Featured in the Warner Bros classic 1955 cartoon "One Froggy Evening" and again in the 1987 Mel Brooks film "Spaceballs", a Star Wars parody. Tune is also known as "Hello Ma Baby". I sing a verse in there, but slightly incorrectly. This video is in response to a comment on my other video "Ragtime Piano Player- Charleston" from someone who said I looked like the creature from the blue lagoon crawling out and playing early jazz. Others have mentioned that I look like Samara Morgan from "The Ring" or the scary ghost from "The Grudge". Cool. I get so enculturated just from reading the viewer comments on my videos. At the beginning of the clip, the eerie sound is a Theremin, which I played for effect in the editing room. You may also notice that I transport out of the picture at the end, ala first-generation Star Trek. This is how I get from one piano to another. Check out my channel for more ragtime piano favorites and other musical madness. Recorded February 28, 2008 in Davis, CA.
